This app is the best PC-to-pocket app ever! Im like the first person to write a review-thats sad but everything has to start from some point ?right?

Frustrating, and the worst is that you dont know what is wrong. The error is too generic. Works better on pc in domains but not in home groups. More help on how to fill some fields would be great, you have to assume the syntax. Good effort though. Keep trying. Will keep watching for new improvements. Dont give up.

1 star for the design. Usability - 0. Instead of sensibly explain how to configure a computer linked to the site windows, where only the most common "circuit breakers". Its easier to jump from the fifth floor, than wade through all the settings windows, and the average user never make it. 1 звезду за дизайн. Usability - 0. Легче прыгнуть с пятого этажа, чем продраться сквозь все окна настройки, а средний пользователь плюнет на это дерьмо уже в самом начале.

This is a really cool idea, but I have no idea how to use it. There needs to be a tutorial or something. That would help a lot.

This will not replace a true remote connection. But is excellent for routine maintenance ie. checking server for reboot after power outage or tweaking win media player or other stream software on the fly. Much easier to connect if you have dedicated ip address instead of router assigned ip. And allow connections from non pc terminals google if you dont know how. Paid the 99cents and satisfied. Yea drag and drop is a pain but can be done one file or folder at a time multiple selection is a fail most of the time.

Im a new iPad owner and one of the uses that I have is to remote-control Windows machines, both at work and at home. Ive looked at a couple of apps--I like Mocha RDP Lite and PocketCloud--but Bamtoos Remote Desktop app is the best value. Ive had no trouble connecting to Windows XP Pro computers and the only trouble I had with Windows 7 Home Premium is Microsofts fault (disabling RDP, but theres a patch for that). I am sure that some people will complain that the banner ad in the free version is annoying, but thats the point, isnt it? Just pay the $0.99 and its gone forever. You dont even have to download a new version or lose any settings. Perfect! Performance of the app is good, but Im using it on internal networks, so it should be. There is good access to the Windows special keys and key combinations. I like being able to force the keyboard to appear-I couldnt do that in some other apps. The interface and configuration is clean and easy. I stumbled a bit trying to modify and delete configurations, but thats because Im an iPad noob. Summary: Works. Cheap. Great value.

This App isnt really designed for the iPad. The Ad is extremely obtrusive making it frustrating to use the App. Was that supposed to convince to pay .99 for the Ad free version... guess what? It didnt work. There are many other free Apps that work significantly better than this one.

The pop up ads make it impossible to use. Can only connect with no security.

I can now see my schedule but can not move around in it. I cant use other programs within my office system, cant choose other days, make other appointments, nothing. So this is completely useless. I even paid to have the ads removed.

Not even sure if this app works at all. Could not connect to anything except to a lot of wonderful ads!

This app works, and it is very responsive, but I have two major complaints about it: 1) The shift key actually functions more like caps lock. Im used to hitting shift to type a single uppercase letter, and then the keyboard automatically reverting back to lowercase after that. Just about every other app works this way. In this app, you have to manually turn off shift after typing a capital. This makes typing very annoying, especially when it comes to passwords. 2) no retina support. The app supports low resolutions, and to get the entire screen on your iPad at the same time, youre limited to about 1280x600 (I think - higher resolutions require scrolling), too small vertically to make some programs useful.

Well worth the .99 cents plus some. The app works as advertised and better. I tried other apps for accessing my pc away from home and this one allows me to do everything that I need to do with it.
